Ubuntu Server Administration Course

This is a completely interactive classroom where students may see the instructor's screen and hear the instructor. They may interact with the instructor using voice or text chat.

The class is based on Ubuntu 8.04

Class Structure:
The instructor will explain a concept, demonstrate the concept, allow student interaction and then provide a lab for students to complete the project on their servers.

Each student will be provided a VMWare Linux Server that they may use for labs to create an actual live server to manage.

No travel necessary...access the Ubuntu class from the convenience of your own home!

Interactive Features:
Live Voice Discussion Using Teamspeak
All students can hear and speak to the instructor. No phone is necessary. Your phone line is kept open.

View Instructor's Screen
Students may view a number of multimedia presentations and demonstrations on the instructor's desktop.

Students may choose to interacti with the instructor using private or public chat throughout the course.

Linux Server to Work on
Each student will be provided a real Linux server to work on using VMWare and installing it on their Windows machine or use access to a virtual server which may be provided on request.

Each week will contain an average of 10 Labs that students can perform with instructor support.
